United to Bring Positive Change to OUR Community
They say it takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a village to strengthen a community ... to make sure everyone receives a quality education, can meet their basic needs, and has the tools needed to build a financially stable future.

Orange County United Way is mobilizing the caring power of OUR community and our 87 partner agencies to ensure our friends, neighbors, and coworkers have the Building Blocks—Education, Income, and Health—for a self-sufficient life.

Before they receive Orange County United Way funding, these agencies must undergo a rigorous volunteer-led and community-driven evaluation to ensure they meet 25 standards of accountability and demonstrate they can make a long-term impact in one of our focus areas. We hold our partner agencies to the highest standards, as we do ourselves, so donation have the greatest impact on the lives of our neighbors in need.

Once the agencies are selected, we provide quality capacity-building trainings and other forums to share best-practice approaches and models, designed to help maximize the agency programs to their fullest potential.
