Volunteer
Thank you for choosing to LIVE UNITED by volunteering. Each year, volunteers provide the necessary support to help people in Orange County to thrive.
Every day, ordinary people are accomplishing extraordinary things by volunteering. From running workplace campaigns to sorting food donations, from beautifying one of our agencies to providing tax preparation assistance to working families, people are using their time and talents to make a profound impact on the lives of their neighbors in need. Because when you reach out a hand to one, you influence the condition of all.

Help Low-Income Families
Volunteers are needed to participate in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This service helps hard-working families prepare tax returns and informs them about their eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) worth hundreds of dollars. The Earned Income Tax Credit was touted by Ronald Reagan as “the best anti-poverty, the best pro-family, the best job creation measure to come out of Congress.” Click here to learn more about this program and how you can volunteer.
