Orange County United Way Women’s Leadership Council has a simple mission: “Mobilize the power of women to improve lives in our community.” Grounded in the idea that addressing the most critical local needs lifts the community as a whole and creates a better life for us all, members stand up, unite, and take action on issues that hit closest to home by GIVING, ADVOCATING, and VOLUNTEERING.

Women’s Philanthropy Fund and Women Looking Forward are part of a larger movement of United Way Women’s Leadership Councils nationwide. With a network of 50,000 passionate women in 120 communities, the council has cumulatively raised more than $700 million in contributions with more members giving more money than any other similar organization. Over the past ten years, Orange County United Way Women’s Leadership Council has raised more than $15.4 million for women and girls in Orange County through personal giving and proceeds from the Women’s Philanthropy Fund Breakfast fundraiser.
