Improving the Lives of Local Women and Children
Be a part of the most powerful voice of philanthropy for women in Orange County. United Way’s Women’s Philanthropy Fund is uniting passionate philanthropists from across the community to focus on building self-sufficiency for women and children in need.
Women’s Philanthropy Fund members give their time, talent and treasure to advance the work being done in our community to ensure more families and individuals have opportunities to become empowered, independent and successful. These Tocqueville Society members invest $10,000 or more annually to help United Way improve Education, Income, Health and Housing needs in Orange County through a unique member-directed grant program. Additionally, each year, we host a signature fundraising event known as the Women’s Philanthropy Fund Breakfast to help fuel our work and impact the lives of more women and children.
Join this dynamic circle of ladies who LIVE UNITED and help lead a legacy of impact with more than 500 women business and community leaders in Orange County. As part of a diverse network of 62,000 passionate women in 143 communities across the country, United Way Worldwide’s Women’s Leadership Council has raised more than $1 billion in contributions in 12 years—more than any other women’s group of its kind.
