It takes more than talk to ensure that our community’s children, families, and individuals have access to quality education, sustainable income, good health, and stable housing. It takes people of action.

From virtual and remote to in-person projects, we have all kinds of gratifying volunteer opportunities to help support the needs of our community.

No matter what experience or time you have to give, putting your skills to use will make a significant impact in your community. And the experience will make you feel great.

The Power of Volunteerism

Early Grade Reading

Orange County United Way is grateful to volunteers who dedicate their time to support children served through Orange County United Way’s early grade reading programs. Your efforts will help instill in children a love of reading as they engage in stories, develop language, learn, and expand their view of the world.

Day of Service

Special thanks to all the companies that participated in Day of Service activities with us and rallied together for Hygiene Kits, Welcome Home Baskets, Blankets, and more in support of our United to End Homelessnessâ„  efforts. Thank you for joining our fight to end homelessness in Orange County.

Mural Painting

Orange County United Way is thankful for the volunteers who dedicate their time to beautify schools by painting murals for Title I elementary schools in Orange County. We envision an Orange County that is a beautiful and enriching space for all students. Thank you for caring for our community #TheOCWay!
