Explore findings from the new Falling Through the Safety Net study and what it reveals about the journey into homelessness for OC residents.

Our October Community Chat will focus on the newly released Falling Through the Safety Net: Understanding Individuals’ Journey and Contributing Factors to Homelessness study, presented by the County of Orange, Office of Care Coordination.

We’ll be joined by Doug Becht, Director of the County of Orange, Office of Care Coordination, to walk through key findings from the survey results and what they reveal about the journey into homelessness for Orange County residents.

Moderated by Becks Heyhoe-Khalil, Executive Director of United to End Homelessness at Orange County United Way, this 45-minute session will unpack survey results—some expected, others surprising—that shed light on the factors contributing to homelessness locally and offer critical guidance for advancing housing solutions.

Don’t miss this opportunity to listen, learn, and engage in a dialogue that will help shape efforts to ensure every Orange County resident has a safe and affordable place to call home, and the opportunity to thrive.
