Irvine, CA, (October 11, 2021) – Orange County United Way is proud to announce the election of two new members to its respected board of directors:
- Hugh Conners, Bank of the West
- Todd Zegers, Ingram Micro
These new board members were elected at Orange County United Way’s board meeting on September 14, 2021. Each will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2024.
“We are pleased to be adding Hugh Conners and Todd Zegers to Orange County United Way’s esteemed board of directors,” said Susan B. Parks, President, and CEO of Orange County United Way. “Their respective depth of professional experience and community advocacy will further strengthen our board, while benefiting our organization and the Orange County community at large.”
Hugh Conners is the Regional Manager of the Small and Medium Enterprises Team in Orange County for Bank of the West. With more than 34 years of experience in the banking industry, Conners has held various management roles throughout California working with small and middle market sized businesses as well as credit administration.
Conners is an eagle scout who actively supports the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts. Additionally, he has utilized his professional expertise to provide volunteer financial counseling while also serving on committees for local community organizations including the Arthritis Foundation.
Todd Zegers is the Global Vice President, ITAD and Reverse Logistics of Ingram Micro where he has executive responsibility for the organization’s global IT Asset Disposition business and national mobile technology reverse logistics and repair services. During his career as a global IT supply chain executive, he has developed several IT platforms which enabled transformation and disruption within the IT reverse supply chain leading to rapid growth and profitability.
Zegers serves as the Leadership Council Chair for Orange County United Way’s United for Financial Security initiative, in addition to leadership roles with David Johnson’s Mission 31 Foundation, Super Charlie Foundation and the Coalition of American Electronics Recyclers.
