Orange County United Way will not sell, trade, rent or share our donors’ names, personal and financial information with any other entity (including vendors, partner agencies or any other third parties), nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. Orange County United Way is committed to protect and safeguard all information received both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform”, includes the Orange County United Way website), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
Normal website usage
Orange County United Way has a strong commitment to Internet privacy. You can visit most portions of unitedwayoc.org without revealing any personal information or telling us who you are. The only information we collect from a normal website visit is the name of your Internet service provider, the browser and type of machine you are using, the website that referred you to us, the pages you request, and the date and time you request them. We use this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of Orange County United Way’s site to our visitors.
Collection of personally identifiable information
Orange County United Way may collect email addresses and other personally identifiable data about visitors when such data is voluntarily submitted to unitedwayoc.org. For example, our site uses information collection forms for visitors to request information, fill out a form under our Contact Us section, or to subscribe to our free newsletter.
